MUSSA
Makerere University School of Statistics Association — the student voice for the School of Statistics and Planning.
Your association, year-round
MUSSA represents students of the School of Statistics and Planning at Makerere University. This site stays live between elections so you always know who we are, how to join, and how voting works when polls open.
- Student representation Cabinet and class representatives speak for your cohort in school and university spaces.
- Activities & community Academic, social, and welfare programmes that connect Statistics and Planning students.
- Democratic leadership When elections run, you elect leaders through the official MUSSA Online Voting System.
When polls open, you’ll know the way
Voting happens only while the Electoral Commission opens the booth (Africa/Kampala time). Between elections, use this site to learn the process so election day feels straightforward.
Fully fledged members make MUSSA stronger
Subscription turns you from a spectator into a member who can shape activities and support the association’s work. Class representatives — part of the association cabinet — will guide you on how to subscribe or contribute.
Start with your class rep
Reach out to your class representative. They can explain subscription steps, dues where applicable, and how you can back MUSSA’s programmes beyond membership alone.
